In the second episode of season two, the Freeride Chronicles team explores the deep backcountry of the Big Sky State. With over 300 inches of annual snowfall, Whitefish Mountain Resort offers the gang unbeatable lines and a laid back, world class experience. Along the way we meet Missoula, Montana native, Landon Gardner, and trace his journey from the Missoula Freestyle Ski Team all the way to competing as part of the US Freestyle Ski Team.

The second half of the episode follows the crew to Great Northern Powder Guides, a relatively new cat skiing operation deep inside the Stillwater forest. The family run operation offers some of the best skiing in the state and the Freeride team takes full advantage of wide terrain, glades, pillows, and tree skiing, all under crystal clear conditions. It’s safe to say Montana’s backcountry is a must visit.
