New Year’s Eve at Big Bear

To celebrate the end of 2014, Big Bear Mountain Resorts will host its annual Torchlight Parade Wednesday night. The event begins at 7:00 p.m. with a wave of skiers and boarders carrying crimson-lit torches down Snow Summit, joined by 250 resort employees cruising down the mountain to help light the way. The event is free and onlookers can observe from the Summit Inn or the Slopeside Pub located at the base of Snow Summit.

After the parade, guests can continue the excitement by heading to one of Big Bears New Year’s Eve parties at the Summit Inn from 8:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. featuring live music by DJ Desi or The Board Room Bar at Bear Mountain from 9:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. featuring live music by DJ Slipmatt. Both parties will be open bar and include a champagne toast.
