Tiny House Episode 1: Winter’s People

Fresh powder and uncrowded conditions are what all ski enthusiasts seek. The point of getting out in the open air first thing in the morning and doing what you love is what many seek on the mountain. The ‘Tiny House’ series takes a look at skiers of several ages who all have one thing in common: the love of winter, and skiing. When it comes to hitting the slopes, most end their long day shredding in a nice spacey rental or cabin with other fellow travelers. But for one family, their house they reside in is much less than what many consider normal. They decided to live a much simpler life, in a tiny house. As for many of the older kids on the mountain, they tend to spend the majority of their time with friends, cruising around seeking out the least crowded areas in the back country.

While the ideal day on the mountain is fresh powder and uncrowded trails, that is not the case every day. Many have had to survive avalanches and injuries along the way. The only thing that is certain: skiing is an outlet for many, that is an escape for all. Stay tuned for Episode 2 of the Tiny House series, and in the meantime, check out the ‘Tiny People’ series.
