Jennifer Franklin, the Deer Valley Mountain Host Manager for 16 seasons, stopped in to tell us about the many treasures that make up the resort, including her favorite groomed and powder runs. As host manager, one of Jennifer’s responsibilities includes leading ski tours along the mountain, but she always makes it appoint to enlighten guests about the history of the community, other park areas, local restaurants, and the ins & outs of the Deer Valley resort.

One of the most difficult decisions you might face at Deer Valley is simply picking a run! There are just so many! Ultimately, it boils down to your preference. For a groomed experience, Jennifer suggests Keno off Bald Mountain that provides skiers with a scenic run lined with pine trees. On a powder day she suggests Lady Morgan Bowl because the run is north facing the mountain, which usually brings a consistent amount of fresh tracks. Lady Morgan Bowl also has beautiful groves along with a couple of different lines you can jump into. Jennifer Franklin is undeniably passionate about her job and invites everyone to ski the difference at Deer Valley this season.
