Mammoth Mountain: Best Conditions of 2016

Mammoth Mountain is one of southern California’s favorite skiing and snowboarding destinations, and the amount of fresh powder that has covered the slopes so far this year is proof.

Winter is definitely in full swing in Mammoth as we picked up another 3-4 feet of new snow over the weekend (January 29-31). With over 20 feet of snowfall so far this season at Main Lodge, the conditions are close to perfect and we are all enjoying Mother Natures big return to the Eastern Sierra. -Lauren Burke, Public Relations & Social Media Manager for Mammoth Mountain told the Ski Channel last week.

The famous Mammoth Mountain sign that stands 20ft high was nearly completely buried with snow. Luckily, it looks like El NiƱo has our backs this year, and we hope this is just the beginning.
