TTR is the acronym for Ticket to Ride, the world snowboard tour that connects the most prestigious snowboard events around the world.  Since 2002, TTR events have drawn the biggest names in snowboarding.  Part of the TTR tour is the Burton European Open.  It no doubt fits the "prestigious" requirement of TTR events.  Today was the finals of the men’s slopestyle and Burton riders dominated their namesake event.  Burton riders filled the podium with Danny Davis taking first.  The 20-year-old Michigan native was ecstatic. “This was my first podium at the BEO and I’m so happy to have won,“ said Davis. “Now I feel like the pressure is off and I can just enjoy the halfpipe tomorrow and have a good run.”  Defending BEO champ Shaun White finished third.

The Burton European Open features more than 400 riders of all ages competing for a $125,000 purse.  The 10th edition of the Burton Europen Open concludes tomorrow, Friday, with the halfpipe finals.
