The World Skiing Invitational (WSI), part of TELUS at Whistler, is a two-part competition, superpipe and the athlete-judged SuperHit contest.  David Wise of Nevada scored a 90.8 and took the 10k first prize.  It was the first WSI podium finish for Wise.

A second ladies’ title was added to the resumé of Alberta’s Dania Assaly.  The current Utah college student was happy to see uncharacteristic clear skies and sun.  A dominating first run was all Assaly needed with a top score of 78.5.
