Generally the early fall is considered the off-season for ski and snowboard camps. For Windells Camp in Mt. Hood, OR, this may not be the case for long.

The camp is currently in their first year of the Windells Academy, where lucky students are enrolled in Kaplan online courses, thus allowing unprecedented year-round access to Mt. Hood training facilities both on and off the snow. Now the camp is reaching out to the local community, and unveiling the latest happenings on their campus.

After graciously hosting a free open house on October 3rd, they are set to do it again on October 17th from 9am to 5pm. Camp grounds will be open allowing the public to test out the legendary foam pits, trampolines, and skatepark facilities.

Turn out for the last event was impressive, as kids and parents were lined up at the door before the day began.
