News out of Taos, New Mexico today that the Salomon Extreme Freeride Championships have signed a partnership deal with the SCOTT Big Mountain Fieberbrunn/Pillerseetal event in Austria.  As part of the deal, the winners of the event in Fieberbrunn event will receive a complimentary entry and lodging at the event in Taos, which is scheduled from March 10-13.  The event at Taos Ski Valley is New Mexico's largest and most prestigious ski and snowboard competition, and has a $12,000 purse.  The SCOTT Big Mountain Fieberfrunn-Pillerseetal will be held in Fieberbrunn, Austria from January 11-18.
