Are you a fanboy of women ski racers?  Is Lindsey Vonn the object of your admiration and love?  Well, the women’s US Ski Team has an “up next” contender for your fanboy affections.  Her name is Megan McJames, and she’s super cool, cute, and she very well could be the next big success in alpine racing.  To the shagrin of her fellow racers, McJames listens to nothing but country music.

Park City’s Megan McJames started 2010 with a win in Saturday’s NorAm Cup slalom race at Val St. Come, Quebec. McJames was joined by Canadian’s Erin Mielzynski and Eve Routher on the podium.

The 22-year-old put together two solid runs to have the fastest time of the day.  This year will be a mix of NorAm and World Cup races for McJames.

Her parents were ski instructors at Alta and Miss McJames honed her skills as part of the Park City Ski Team.
