Our favorite FREE ski event is upon us once again! The Galena Loppet is a non-competitive party on skis that will travel the entire perimeter of the Galena Lodge ski trails – about 25 km. Join us on Sunday, January 30th for a 10am start that will be marked by shooting a rubber chicken. Skiers will enjoy a beer and homemade donuts “feed” station halfway, and as always, costumes are highly encouraged.
Galena Lodge is a community owned day-lodge nestled in the Rocky Mountains 23 miles north of Sun Valley Resort and Ketchum, Idaho. Galena Lodge is open daily from 9am to 5pm and serves lunch from 11:30am to 3:30pm.
