NSAA officials stated, “Copper did an outstanding job of educating employees and guest about skiing and snowboarding responsibly.” Not content to rest on last year’s laurels, Copper is stoked for the upcoming opportunity to showcase their season-long safety efforts with the triumphant return of their Copper Safety Fest that is slated to be held on January 14th and go until the 16th in Copper’s Center Village.
Some highlights to look forward to at this year’s Safety Fest include the launching of new kid-friendly signage detailing lift safety throughout the West Village, avalanche dog demos, helicopter flyovers, open house and cocoa party at the Patrol HQ, and the NSAA 2012 Kids Safety Week Poster Contest. There’s a ton more fun to be had, so grab the family and plan on coming out for the festivities!
