Squaw Valley and the Shane McConkey Foundation released this absolutely hysterical parody of JP Auclair’s street segment from Sherpas Cinemas’ award-winning film, All.I.Can.
Appropriately titled, Of. Course. I. Can., the edit features some epic snowblade action across the streets of Gnarnia, CA in Squaw Valley. Of. Course. I. Can was created thanks to Matt Palmer and Grant Kaye, and showcases the snowblading “talents” of Greg Lindsey, Cody Townsend and Grant Kaye. There are even a couple of great cameos by snowboarder Jeremy Jones, and JP Auclair — star of the original segment.
The goal of the video is to promote the 3rd Annual Pain McShlonkey Classic, which takes place on the slopes of Squaw Valley from March 29-30, 2013. The competition is an homage to the late, great Shane McConkey. While we lost Shane back in 2009 due to a tragic accident, his memory has lived on in the hearts and minds of countless action sports enthusiasts. This hilarious tribute is but one of the ways Shane continues to impact the world of skiing and snowboarding….and snowblading. Pros and amatueurs alike will converge upon Squaw for the two day on and off-mountain event. They’ll compete for the highly coveted Golden Sucer trophy, and to find out who is the “best skier on the mountain!”
