It's official, Mammoth Mountain's 22' Halfpipe is open for business!

The Sierra Mountains have been getting coated with snow all season long. To date, the Mammoth Lakes resort has been blessed with over 18 feet of natural snowfall, providing park crews with plenty of material to work their magic on. Utilizing over 30,000 cubic yards of snow, they've crafted a super
pipe that is 550 feet long

, 62 feet wide (vert-to-vert) with an 18.5-degree pitch that is guaranteed to give you some pop!

Skiers and snowboarders can take full advantage of this masterpiece all season long — they just need to make sure they don't drop in on any of the professional athletes training on the Olympic-sized pipe.

In other Mammoth Terrain Park news, the 13-foot pipe located in Wonderland Park is open as well.

Time to go BIG!
