Lindsey Vonn Returns to the Snow

The USSA has just released some extremely positive news pertaining star skier Lindsey Vonn. Apparently, the Olympic and four-time Audi FIS Alpine World Cup overall champion has returned to on snow training in Europe today.

“It feels great to be back and I can’t wait to start racing again,” commented Vonn on Facebook.

As most k

now, a debilitating stomach virus plagued Vonn throughout November. Despite being able to compete in the subsequent events, the skier's energy levels were just not where they were supposed to be causing her to perform beneath her capability. Rather than struggle though any more competitions, Vonn opted to head home to the states in December to recover fully.

Right now, the plan is for Lindsey to return to competition at the World Cup downhill and super G in St. Anton, Austria.
