David Wise Dominates Men's Superpipe at X Games 2013

Team USA skier David Wise topped today’s elimination round of the Men’s Ski Superpipe with an impressive score of 92.00. Wise’s best run of the day featured a rightside 7, switch double, rightside 9, double cork 12, and an alley-oop flatpspin 5.

Just barely behind Wise was teammate Torin Yater-Wallace, who performed for the first time since his shoulder surgery recovery. Tor

in brought the heat from the start with a double cork 12 mute, alley-oop flatspin 5 critical, rightside 9 tail, left 10 tail, and switch right 9 on his first run landing him a 90.00 from the judges.

After today’s round the 16 skiers invited to the X Games has dwindled down to just the final 8 composed of Wise, Yater-Wallace, Simon Dumont, Tucker Perkins, Aaron Blunch, Benoit Valentin, Joffrey Pollet-Villard, and Kevin Rolland.
