Huge POWDER ALERT going down in Colorado right now as there have been 3.5 feet of snow dumped on the mountains in the past few days.

Aspen/Snowmass Colorado guests woke up this morning to over 5 inches of fresh snow fallings, so everyone is stoked to hit the slopes.

Steamboat is reporting 14 inches at mid-mountain overnight with 17 inches in the past 48 hours and 41 inches in the past 72 hours. The National Weather Service says a perseverant northwest flow will continue to dump snowfall to western Colorado through the afternoon. The snowfall will be heavy at times, so a Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6pm MST this evening for the area.

Telluride is also pumped about over 34 inches of powder they’ve received in the past 7 days, including 9 inches in the past 24 hours alone, which is incredible.

The conditions are unreal wherever you decide to go in the Colorado area, so pack up the car and hit the slopes because it’s time to shred it up!
