Matt Reardon is not only a radical skier, he is also a humanitarian and a dedicated musician, dangerous on a guitar. This season, he linked up with Volkl Skis and the High Fives Foundation based out of Truckee in Lake Tahoe, California, for a very special music video. The High Fives Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising money and awareness for athletes who have suffered a life-altering injury while pursuing their dream in the winter action sports community. Formed as a way to “pay-it-forward” by the founder from his own recovery to help injured athletes, the foundation has helped 37 athletes to date since its inception in 2009.
Reardon performed with the Jelly Bread group for this special promotional video. The best part – the Gibson classic custom guitar he is playing is now being auctioned off to benefit High Fives! Bid on and win the Gibson Classic Custom Les Paul | Volkl Skis guitar featured in this video at: gibsonguitar.highfivesfoundation.org
Video filmed and produced by Doxa Studios | Nik David (doxastudios.com). Music, lyrics and copyright belong to recording artists: Matt Reardon and Jelly Bread along with the High Fives Non-Profit Foundation.
“Volkl Skis has been the longest supporter of the Foundation, and as we have grown they have increased their support for High Fives, we are so lucky to be working with a company like Volkl and Gibson Guitar,” said Roy Tuscany, President and Founder of High Fives Non-Profit Foundation. “Plus, how many non-profits get to have a music video produced by Nik David featuring the music of Matt Reardon (w/ Jelly Bread)!”
Matt Reardon and the Jelly Bread group were equally excited to be a part of the project.
The auction runs from Feb. 14, 2013 at 12:01am (PST) to Feb. 24, 2013 at 12:01am (PST). All proceeds benefit the High Fives Foundation! Check it out, here: gibsonguitar.highfivesfoundation.org
