Squaw Valley’s Pro Skier Timy Dutton Passes Away In Sky Diving Accident

Squaw Valley’s professional skier and BASE jumper Timy Dutton, 27, passed away yesterday April 29th, 2014, in a tragic sky diving accident. Dutton was sky diving over Lodi, California when he collided mid-air with another sky diver. Dutton’s head slammed into the other sky diver’s leg, breaking his leg and knocking Dutton unconscious, according to MoonshineInk. Dutton was unconscious before he was able to deploy his shoot. The other ski diver survived and is in the hospital recovering.

Squaw Valley’s CEO Andy Wirth told Moonshine Ink., “The North Lake Tahoe community has lost a really nice young man who was not only a remarkable athlete, but was someone who made his way through some incredible challenges.”
