Watch out Sochi, U.S. Freestyle Olympic Ski Team athlete Heidi Kloser is ready to dominate Women’s Moguls.

Heidi has been a ski fanatic since she was a little girl, as she watched her father own and direct the professional mogul tour throughout her childhood. Heidi has specifically loved moguls from the minute she started skiing, even before she understood her father’s background. She has always taken her skiing very seriously and is very, very driven to be the best she can be. She was fortunate to have great World Cup and Olympian skiers such as Liz McIntyre, Toby Dawson, Alex Wilson, Troy Benson, Mike Friedberg took notice in her talent and coached her along her journey. At the age of 17, she made the ski team and went on to win the Noram Cup title that year, as well as winning the FIS World Cup rookie title. But her success was not immediate on the team, not to mention that she had two knee operations since joining the team. In 2012 Kloser notched a career-high fourth-place World Cup finish on home snow in Deer Valley. That plus another top 10 Word Cup result was enough to put her in the top 20 in the World Cup season standings.¬†But recently she landed her career-best score of a second place¬†finish at the Kreischberg, Austria World Cup.

You will see Heidi competing on The U.S. Freestyle Ski Team in the mogul events and expect nothing but strong results from her! Check back with The Ski Channel for all updates and results on Heidi!
