The 2014 Sochi Paralympic Winter Games go underway today!

U.S. Olympic Alpine Paralympic Ski Team’s Stephani Victor will be competing in all 2014 Sochi Women’s Alpine Skiing events. The Park City, Utah native has won a total of five Paralympic medals, four World Championship titles and five overall World Cup titles. Stephani went to college to study film and aspired to be an actress until she was tragically struck by an out-of-control car that pinned her against her own car. In order to safe her life, both her legs had to be amputated. Three years after her accident, she took her first adaptive skiing lesson and since then her professional, Paralympic Alpine skiing career has sky rocketed into nothing she could have imagined.
