Liberty Mountain opens this Saturday

It's time to get your skis, boards and winter season excitement ready! Liberty Mountain will be open for the 2009-2010 season TOMORROW, Saturday, December 12th from 9am to 10pm with midweek rates. The mountain looks beautiful all dressed in white - check out the pictures to the left (taken this morning at 10:30am) and be sure to make note of all the opening day details below:

  • Hours & Rates: 9am to 10pm, midweek hours, midweek rates apply (no First Tracks)
  • Trails Open: First Class Area, Dipsy Doodle, West Side Park, Nova, Sneaky Pete, Lower Ultra, and Whitney's Way
  • Park Features: West Side Park: Butter box, two small boxes, cannon, barrel, long box. J-bar will not be open this weekend.
  • Snowmaking: Began Thursday afternoon, will continue as temps allow - bring your goggles!
  • Lifts in operation: First Class Quad, Dipsy Quad, Alpine Quad, and the new Eastwind Quad
  • Snow & Weather Report: For the weekend - clear and sunny, highs in the upper 30s, lows around 30
  • Boulder Ridge Snow Tubing: Will not be open this weekend
  • Resort Amenities: Alpine Market, Bakery, Liberty Mountain Sport Shop, Basket Check, and McKee's Tavern will be open. Sneaky's Pizza, Alpine Starbucks and South Pole will not be open. The Children's Learning Center will not have Camps, but Playcare and Packages will be available - please call for CLC reservations.

    Guest Services will be open at 8:30am for pass and card processing.
