Okemo Mountain Resort hosts free U.S. Air Force Band of Liberty concert Sept. 3
Okemo Mountain Resort's Jackson Gore Outdoor Music Series will wrap up another season of free concerts with The U.S. Air Force Band of Liberty on Friday, Sept. 3.
The United States Air Force Band of Liberty is one of 10 Air Force Bands nationwide. Stationed at Hanscom AFB near Boston, Mass., this group of 60 musicians has been entertaining audiences throughout the New England region and beyond with their diverse musical selections since 1978.
Okemo's Jackson Gore Inn will once again transform their courtyard into an outdoor concert venue featuring free admission to the public. Concert grounds open at 5 p.m with shows slated to run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Families are welcome and all attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets. In case of rain, the concerts will move indoors. Dining options include fresh-from-the-grill burgers and hot dogs, or full-service dining with an al fresco seating option at Jackson Gore's Coleman Brook Tavern.
