U.S. Ski Team Member Cody Marshall Hospitalized and Hanging On

The 26 year-old U.S. Ski Team athlete was injured late Wednesday night when he fell from an escalator railing in a Park City mall. It's estimated that Marshall fell about 30 feet. He was rushed to a Salt Lake City hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Marshall suffered a head injury but doctors are optimistic about his recovery.

The technical ski specialist is part of a skiing family. Sister Chelsea is also on the U.S. Ski Team, and older brother Jesse is a former Ski Team athlete. The Vermont native has been living in Park City while training for the 2010 Olympic Games.

We're praying for his quick and complete recovery.
