Jackson Hole, WY: Don’t let its remote location fool you: This town is happening. The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar and Mangy Moose are classic hot spots and the locals are super friendly. The legendary ski terrain also doesn’t hurt! Corbet’s Couloir, often touted as America's Scariest Ski Slope is the stuff freeride dreams are made of.
Some more highlights:
For the upscale singles: The Koshu Wine Bar might be tiny, but it offers hundreds of bottles of wine. There’s also an Asian-inspired menu for the hungry.
For pool, locals and beer on tap: The Log Cabin Saloon looks just like it sounds. Two levels feature pool and beer on each one.
For sushi: Nikai has it going on. On Fridays, saki and DJ-music flows into the wee hours.
For micro-brews: The Snake River Brewing Company might expose you to some more tourists, as bottles of the Zonker Stout and Snake River Pale Ale make worthy souvenirs.
