Swedish Ski Star Henrik Harlaut Inks Deal with Oakley

Henrik Harlaut

Henrik Harlaut, all of 18-years-old and already a dominant force in terrain park skiing, has signed on with Oakley.  The Swedish ski star has style for days.  In the air, Harlaut is cleaner than Clorox Bleach.  The grabs, spins, corked style, all of it is done with incredible control and precision.  Off the mountain, in the urban setting while the city sleeps, Harlaut slays innocent handrails, making metal cry.  The man is an absolute treat to watch.

A career highlight for Harlaut came on November 8, 2008.  At the Monsterpark Invitiational, Harlaut successfully landed  a switch 1620.  Translated: he hit the jump going backwards, spun 4 1/2 times, and stomped the landing.  Yep, a switch 1620.  Obviously the insane trick won him the contest.  Check the clip above.

Congrats to Henrik on his well deserved contract signing with Oakley.  Definitely look forward to watching him progress the sport for years to come.
