Picture of falling object from balloon is ominous for Fort Collins Heene family

This picture has just been released regarding the six-year-old boy in Fort Collins, CO who took off in his parent's experimental balloon today. The highlighted image is possibly an object that was fastened to the bottom of the balloon--an object that could have very well been containing the boy, Falcon Heene.

Details are emerging about the family of the missing Fort Collins boy who floated away in the experimental balloon. The Heene family is extremely interested in science. "When the Heene family aren't chasing storms, they devote their time to scientific experiments that include looking for extraterrestrials and building a research-gathering flying saucer to send into the eye of the storm. The family sleeps in their clothes so they can leap out of bed and into the storm-mobile." That quote is courtesy of the ABC network. They know about the Heene family because the family appeared on the network's show "Wife Swap" earlier this year.

Let's hope that if the falling object did contain Falcon, that he is OK. Authorities continue to search voraciously for him. At this point, his whereabouts and condition are unknown.
