Shaun White to unveil new tricks this season
Last night on Conan O'Brien, Shaun White was his usual pleasant, relaxed self. And he was intriguing—so much so that A-list actor Ewan McGregor was moved to ask questions. The Men Who Stare at Goats star wanted to know how the Olympic gold-medal-winning snowboarder learned his new tricks.
Apparently, White has three new tricks which he will unleash in the half-pipe this season. He didn't reveal the names, yet, though mentioned that in New Zealand this summer, a local called one the Viper, which he liked.
White told McGregor that he creates new tricks out of old ones, either adding another flip or twist, and that he first practices them in a specially designed foam pit (care of his sponsor Red Bull) before performing them on snow. White hopes that his new moves will nab him another gold medal in Vancouver.
