As TSC reported earlier this week, the lawyer for Nancy Garrido was removed from her criminal case during a closed-door hearing.  No reason was given for the removal of Gilbert Maines, but now records are showing that Garrido has a new interim counsel, Stephen Tapson.  Garrido, along with her husband Phillip Garrido, is charged in the kidnapping case of South Lake Tahoe girl Jaycee Lee Dugard and her subsequent 18-year captivity.
