Colorado towns consider moratorium on marijuana dispensaries

Apparently not following the lead of Breckenridge, several Colorado towns are set to debate whether or not to halt the establishment of new marijuana dispensaries throughout the state. Debates will pop up in several towns this week.

Grand Juncion will debate the issue tonight, followed by Loveland, Fort Collins and Pueblo later in the week. City officials in Denver are also planning a review of marijuana dispensary status. Colorado is home to over 100 dispensaries, and although voters passed the medical marijuana bill in the year 2000, there just might be too many herb shops for people to handle. Stay tuned for more.
