District Attorney in Lake Tahoe kidnapping case calls out Phillip Garrido

Harsh words are coming from El Dorado County District Attorney Vern Pierson, as he issued a written statement in response to three letters that alleged kidnapper Phillip Garrido sent from jail last week.  Garrido, who is charged with kidnapping and raping South Lake Tahoe girl Jaycee Lee Dugard, said he wanted to "apologize to every human being for what has taken place."  Pierson's statement said that Garrido is a "master manipulator" who wants to "control the situation around him and his prior victims."  Garrido and his wife, Nancy, are charged with 29 criminal counts in relation to Dugard's abduction and 18-year captivity.
