Well it seems yesterday's "heli-skiing" adventure was a little too intense for Paris Hilton, as the celebutante has at least for now retreated from the world of skiing, to enter the dark world of snowboarding, aka Team Jacob to those fanatical Twi-Hards.

Maybe Paris is trying to live out her own real-world version of the "Twilight Saga: New Moon" as "Bella Swan," the girl who becomes conflicted between her love for Edward (skiing) or Jacob (snowboarding).

It's also possible that Ms. HIlton really did make the infamous wall at Whistler Village's 'Mongolie Grill' the night before, and felt snowboarding would be more gentle if she was feeling a bit sluggish from feasting on those mountains of stir-fry.

While it's too early to tell if the 'tomboy' is gunning for Shaun White 's Olympic spot come February, but like anything the heiress decides she wants, she usually gets. If I were Shaun, I would be working on that triple cork in my private halfpipe in Silverton. Never know what Paris might have up her sleeve.

Although, based on her Twitter feed, Hilton says, "Snowboarding is hard, I'm a much better skier."

Shaun and the rest of the US Snowboard Team might be safe, for now.
