Best terrain park skiers and riders in Colorado showcased here
WINTER PARK RESORT AND UNIVERSITY OF DENVER TO PRESENT RUBY HILL PROJECT | RAIL JAM
WHAT: Winter Park Resort, Denver Parks and Recreation and Christy Sports will host the largest Ruby Hill event of the season this weekend, a Rail Jam competition dubbed Ruby Hill Project.
WHERE: Ruby Hill Rail Yard, located at South Platte River Dr. & Florida Ave.

Schedule:
▪ Registration: 1:30 - 2:30pm
▪ Warm-up: 2:30 - 3:15pm
▪ Heat 1: 3:30 - 4pm
▪ Heat 2: 4:15 - 4:45pm
▪ Heat 3: 5 - 5:30pm
▪ Ski Finals: 6 - 6:30pm
▪ Snowboard Finals: 6:45 - 7:15pm
WHY: Ruby Hill Project is expanding the concept of a free urban terrain park and bringing in the element of competition. This event will showcase some of Colorado’s best terrain park skiers and riders from the mountains, traveling to the city for the SIA Snow Show. It is also an opportunity for the Denver Metro residents, specifically youth, to exhibit what each have learned and practiced in this unique rail yard. The timing was intentionally set during the SIA Snow Show dates to not only bring in outstanding athletes, but also bring awareness of this one-of-a-kind terrain park and its positive community impact to the snow sports industry.
DETAILS: Open to the first 120 participants, this is an open class contest, event includes qualification heats with finals in both ski and snowboard divisions. Great prizes and swag will be given out, including 50% of all entry fees going back to the top three athletes as prize money.
Cost: $10 advance registration, CASH ONLY. $15 day-of registration, CASH ONLY
Minors require a parent/guardian signature.
