North Face Masters of Snowboarding to hit Crystal Mountain

For the first time ever, Washington's Crystal Mountain will host the North Face Masters of Snowboarding (TNF Masters) event from February 9-12, 2010. The pro riders will likely hit the rugged mountain's Northway and Silver King slopes as they vie for $15,000 in prize money. 2010 marks the third year for the TNH Masters series, and big-name riders like Travis Rice, Mark Carter, Rob Kingwill, Ralph Backstrom, Ryland Bell, Michelle Locke, Shannan Yates, and Susan Mol are regulars and will likely attend the WA event.

Crystal Mountain is also notable for being U.S. Ski Team athlete Scott Macartney's home base. The Seattle-born racer grew up skiing at the resort and currently serves as Crystal's ambassador.
