Cypress Olympic Freestyle mogul course completed in spite of sketchy snow
In spite of the recent lack of snow in and around Vancouver, Olympic host officials managed to complete a perfect moguls course at the Olympic Freestyle venue at Cypress Mountain. (The resort is currently closed to the public and has been for a few weeks to preserve the terrain.)
The aerials venue construction is still underway, however the Olympic event doesn't take place until February 20, with the women's qualification round. In the meantime, the U.S. Olympic aerials squad is in Park City training at the Utah Olympic Park and at the United States Ski and Snowboard Association's newly minted Center of Excellence.
