Girls from PETA to beat up Johnny Weir at Olympic Games

The flamboyant Johnny Weir has now waffled back to tortured tuffy who is going to stand up for his rights and says that he will wear dead animals if he wants to. "I like fur and I like things that come from dead animals," said Weir.

No reaction from PETA as of yet, but the organization made up volunteers sticking up for cuddly creatures will likely take the high road as they probably have a lot more bullets in their common sense gun than the junvenile, mind changing Weir.

Weir has claimed that he is unfairly targeted by PETA because nearly all skaters are wearing leather skates. The issue stemmed from a costume he wore with a pelt of white fox fur on the shoulder.

At this Olympic Games he has not worn the fur.

What? Peta isn't involved. Friends of Animal is. Dude --- it's all OVER the news. The letter and press release that started this whole thing came from Friends of Animals. Duh!

Wah Wah....get a life Peta and Friends of Animals. This is America and you can wear and eat whatever the hell you want. I wonder if people really hate him because he is gay...and not because he wears fur. Whoever wrote this obviously anti-Johnny article should really attempt at writing in a not so transparent and hatefilled way. So you don't agree with him wearing fur. He may not agree with you and your "opinions".

Learn to read, folks. No threats were issued by Friends of Animals OR PETA. They came from individuals. No reasonable organizations were held responsible in making these articles.

If the animal is going to be killed at leat use all of it so its not wasted. If he wan't to wear fur its his choice. you can't just get mad at him

It's a logical fallacy to oppose an idea simply because you oppose the communicator of that idea. Fur is inherently cruel and unnecessary, regardless of how you feel about PETA. As for the claim that "it's a free country", that argument is also illogical. If you were to extend that notion, then you should also argue that it is acceptable to beat a dog or starve a horse. Oh, but then you would say "it is illegal to do those things, but fur is legal". And I would ask, "why?". Why would cruelty toward one sentient being be punishable by law while cruelty to another be considered "enterprise"? In this day and age, surely we have developed enough logic where we can objectively scrutinize our ideologies and actions and change them when we find inconsistencies.

well, thank you for supporting us and making up fake quotes, and remember, go vegetaria. we claim you lose weight and you become healthy, but in all honesty, we know you become a pale walking zombie and actually gain weight, not to mention the plethora of complications that arise with going vegetarian. and remember my little peta friends, keep up the death threats, because even though a victory by violence is no victory, we're peta, we really don't care about people, unless they donate to us of course
