It's the great news that Southern California skiers and snowboarders have been waiting to hear all season long: Mt. Waterman Ski Area will finally open this weekend!  The ski resort has been closed due to the fall fires in the area, but there is now an alternate route to get to it and guests will be able to enjoy the 8-foot base that awaits them! See below for new directions to get to Mt. Waterman, and call (818) 790-2002 for more information.

NEW Directions to Mt. Waterman Ski Area:

Take the 210 Freeway to Sunland Blvd. If your coming from the La Canada direction you will turn right when you get off the freeway. If your coming from the valley take a left when you get off the freeway. From this point it's .07 miles to Oro Vista rd. You will take a left on Oro Vista and drive until you reach Big Tujunga Canyon Road. Take a right and drive the 12 miles up to Angeles Forest Hwy. Take a left on Angles Forest Hwy and drive the 4.4 miles to Upper Tujunga Canyon Rd. Take a right and drive the 9 miles to the Angeles Crest Hwy and take a left. From here its 14 miles to the Mt waterman Parking lot.
