Steamboat Ski Resort announces new VP of Sales & Marketing

Following the departure of Andy Wirth to become Squaw Valley USA's new CEO, Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation has announced Rob Perlman, current vice president of sales & marketing at Winter Park Resort, will assume responsibility for Steamboat marketing in addition to his Winter Park role beginning July 26th.
Rob Perlman will move to the position of Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation and will be relocating to Steamboat with his family. He will maintain his current responsibilities at Winter Park as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing and will provide oversight for Intrawest's strategic alliance partnerships. Perlman previously served as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Steamboat from 2008-2009. His tenure in the ski industry also includes leadership roles at Colorado Ski Country USA, Vail Resorts and Mammoth Mountain in California.
"I am thrilled at the opportunity to work closely with both the Steamboat and Winter Park teams," said Perlman. "The Steamboat and Winter Park brands are stronger than ever and having the resorts working hand in hand will enhance our success in the Colorado ski scene."
"Rob's long history with resort sales and marketing teams makes this collaboration between Steamboat and Winter Park a strong partnership," said Gary DeFrange, Winter Park Ski Resort President and Chief Operating Officer. "Rob's marketing leadership will result in new opportunities for both resorts."
