Park City Mountain Resort announces additional ski expansion info
Days ago, we reported that Park City Mountain Resort (PCMR) had plans to signifcantly expand their night skiing operations to now include Three Kings lift-serviced terrain, and now the resort has announced even bigger plans for the upcoming ski season.
Besides adding 23 percent more trails to its nighttime offerings, the resort will be placing snowmaking guns on Three Kings and Quicksilver for the first time, with seven fully automated fan guns being installed this summer.
Additionally, the infamous Pick-n-Shovel terrain park, a long-time favorite among those who frequent the Park City jib scene, will now double in size during its first season available to night sessions under the lights.
All upgrades will be complete in time for the 2010-11 winter season.
