Jackson Hole Resort Looks Ahead to New Aerial Tram

Sure it’s February, but Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is thinking ahead. The mountain recently completed construction of a $32 million state-of-the-art Aerial Tram, which rises 4,139 vertical feet in just nine minutes, and delivers access to the 10,450 foot summit of Rendezvous Mountain.

The new Aerial Tram is twice the size of its predecessor, with larger windows to allow for better, stellar views of Grand Teton National Park and the surrounding Tetons. Hiking trails abound at the summit, and the resort’s Corbet’s Cabin will be open all summer, serving beverages and snacks.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort will open for the summer season on Saturday, May 23rd, and the Aerial Tram will open daily at 9:00am until September 27, 2009.  Aerial Tram Tickets $10 to $24.
