Members of the Stowe Mountain Club, a private four-season club at Vermont’s heralded ski resort of Stowe, have receive quite the amenity.  It’s called the Alpine Clubhouse, centrally located within the Spruce Plaza.  The inside is truly an architectural wonder.  Dave Kaselak, Principal Architect from Zehren and Associates describes his beautiful creation. "The interior of the Alpine Club makes use of warm, natural materials such as alder trim and ceiling beams, locally-quarried stone, sustainable hemp fabric and granite countertops. Interior spaces with tall ceilings are gracious yet cozy, surrounded by huge expanses of glass to take in the surrounding natural setting, mountains and Plaza views. The exterior recalls mountain architecture of the area, with a beautiful wood-burning stone fireplace oriented toward the future ice rink."

Right now, Stowe Mountain Resort has deals on lodging, and for home-state snow heroes, Stowe has three-day lift tickets for $99!
