Stowe Mountain Club (a four-season private club) in Stowe, VT recently opened the Alpine Club for its patrons. The new digs feature a member’s-only locker room, bar, restaurant, lounge, game room, reading areas, indoor & outdoor fireplaces, ski valet, concierge services and valet parking.

The Alpine Club is also directly connected to Mt. Mansfield, Vermont’s highest peak, with a high-speed transfer gondola that shuttles patrons to the slopes.

“The interior of the Alpine Club makes use of warm, natural materials such as alder trim and ceiling beams, locally-quarried stone, sustainable hemp fabric and granite countertops,” says Dave Kaselak, AIA and Principal Architect from Zehren and Associates.

The building is constructed with green materials and fits with Stowe’s signature version of Vermont charm.
