Aspen Highlands Extends Season to April 26!

It is quite frightening to ponder the end of the ski season.  For Aspen Highlands, the end of the season was not quite the end.  The resort announced that it will reopen for the weekends of April 18-19 and April 25-26.  Rejoice!  A series of spring storms pushed the Highlands snowpack over the 100 inch mark, the highest it’s been all season.  “Some people are ready to put this year behind them, but we are a town of skiers and snowboarders – if we have the snow, we’re going skiing,” said David Perry, senior vice president, Aspen Skiing Company. “We know it’s been a tough year and this is our way of saying thank you to the community and the rest of the winter sports world.”

Of course, nothing beats spring skiing, and Aspen/Snowmass is helping out folks experience the fun of skiing in a t-shirt with $39 lift tickets, $29 for seniors, and $19 for children.  Bring your pass from any other resort and pay just $19!

When it’s gone, it’s gone.  So get yourself up on the mountain while you still… have… time!
