From April 7th to 20th, catch Gretchen Bleiler, Steve Fisher, Louie Vito, Kelly Clark, and Hannah Teter along with a handful of other members of the U.S. Snowboarding Halfpipe team at Buttermilk for spring training camp.  The pipe at Buttermilk was recently chosen as the best pipe in Transworld Snowboarding’s reader’s poll.  “This is definitely the cornerstone camp of our program. It’s going to be amazing,” U.S. Snowboarding Halfpipe Head Coach Mike Jankowski said. “We’re going to be getting after it and riding a perfect 22-foot pipe in Aspen at Buttermilk.”

There are only five 22-foot pipes in North America, with Buttermilk’s getting the most exposure through the X Games.  “The buttermilk pipe, built for X Games, is one of the best in the world and it should be a progressive couple of weeks,” commented Gretchen Bleiler.

Spring skiing conditions are perfect right now.  Bust out the t-shirt, bring plenty of sunscreen, and check out some future Olympians throwing down next-level stuff at Buttermilk for a full two weeks!
