Echo Mountain’s “Last Park Standing” Pro/Am Comp This Saturday

Echo Mountain in Colorado glosses itself Denver’s “closest, cheapest, and freshest” ski resort.  No lies there.  A scant 35 miles from Denver.  Pushing play on Gun’s N’ Roses Appetite for Destruction, driving at an average speed of 60 miles-an-hour, that would put you right in the middle of “Sweet Child o’ Mine” as you pull into the Echo Mountain parking lot.  Close.  And after last weekend’s storm, Echo Mountain is indeed super fresh with 60 inches of new snow.  Jockies are buried everywhere.

This Saturday (April 26) is Echo Mountain’s signature event.  Last Park Standing is a pro/am comp with $12k in cash and another $4k in prizes available for your winning skills.  The amateur comp is rail jam format.  Winners of the Am comp move on to the pro slopestyle comp.

Registration is only online as it is assumed all rotary dialers have no jibbing skills.
