It will be a one-of-a-kind ski experience.  The 2009-10 ski season will mark the opening of The Vale, a new ski-in-ski-out property in Niseko, Japan.  A scant 100 feet from the base of the Family Ace chair lift, The Vale will encompass all that is wonderful about Japanese culture, including 10 traditional Japanese private hot spring baths called “onsens”.

“You just cannot get ski accommodation like this anywhere in the world – the combination of ski-in/ski-out, traditional Japanese onsens, outdoor pool, cocktails on the après terrace, room service and designer interiors is really second to none,” said Lisa Araki of Niseko Alpine Accommodation.

If you’re not hip to Niseko, the region has been featured in many a ski film these past few years because of its terrain, but mainly for the ridiculous amount of snowfall burying the resort each year.  Go check it!
