According to the Rocky Mountain Lodging Report, resorts in Utah had their best month of sales in July since the ski season has ended.  Although hotel sales were down from last year’s sales, hotels statewide filled almost to 65%, which was up from 62% in June.  Average room rates were up $3 to $4 but are still less than they were in 2008.  Hotels in Ogden and Davis County had the fewest empty rooms, as they were filled 77% nightly.   Hotel sales will hopefully keep rising as ski season is approaching soon!
