Aspen Ski Pass Sales Already Going Strong

Just two days before the ‘super early’ deadline, Aspen season passes are flying off the virtual shelves. Aspen Skiing Co. spokesman Jeff Hanle estimated that as of yet, sales of unlimited Premier passes are already up to 10 percent greater than they were last year. Total season pass sales, seem to be a bit lower however, yet Hanle noted that it’s hard to compare, as sale dates are different and the pass programs have changed. Certain pass options have been eliminated.

This season, Aspen is offering four categories of ski passes and has lowered the price on its most popular option, the unrestricted Premier pass. “Pass sales have been strong; we’re happy at this point,” Hanle told the Aspen Daily News.

Saturday season pass prices rise during the ‘early’ period, which runs through November 13.
