Heavenly Mountain Resort in South Lake Tahoe, California, has announced many improvements for the upcoming ski and snowboard season that include everything from trail enhancements to upgrades on food quality.  Blaise Carrig, CEO at Heavenly, said, “In terms of the size of the resort, the quality of service, the commitment to snowmaking and grooming, and the accessibility of lodging for any budget, Heavenly is the one mountain at Lake Tahoe that delivers a complete destination resort experience.”

In order to deliver this experience, the resort has worked tirelessly on many projects.  The ski resort has worked to identify key trails for enhancement, and have widened the pinch-points and lowered the height of the obstacles on them.  Heavenly has bought three new Prinoth Bison X grooming machines to provide the finest snow surfaces.  A new four-lane tubing hill has been constructed that has a 65-foot vertical drop and is accessed by a covered magic carpet lift.  Finally, the quality of the food on the mountain has been improved, and a Lunch for Less value meal will be available that includes an entree, side dish, and non-alcoholic beverage for $9.95.  For more information on these improvements and about Heavenly, click here
