New Mexico’s only night skiing debuts at Angel Fire in December

Riding a chairlift at night under the stars.  Night skiing straight rules.  This season, New Mexico’s Angel Fire Resort gives you the opportunity to zen out on the lift before going heavy metal in the terrain park.  The resort will light up 50 acres, including Exhibition, Ridge Run, Valley, and Dreamcatcher.

This will be the only night skiing available in all of New Mexico.  Props are deserved for that title.  “Where I came from, night skiing was a huge draw in the mountains nearby,” said Pat Brunstad, CEO of Angel Fire Resort. “As much as any powder day was an event, night skiing was absolutely the place to be when the sun went down. We’re looking to create that same high-energy fun here. Not only for guests in Angel Fire, but for visiting families around the Enchanted Circle who want to try every great experience our New Mexico mountains offer.”

Night skiing will be from 4 to 9pm, Thursday through Saturday, with tickets priced at a niiice $24.  The curtain and sun will drop on the opening of night skiing scheduled for Saturday, December 19th.
